About
Manchester Barton Aerodrome is a historic grass airfield established in 1930, situated in Eccles, Greater Manchester, and is the original municipal airport of Manchester. The aerodrome is home to multiple flying schools offering training across fixed-wing, rotary, microlight, gyrocopter, and aerobatic disciplines. It also hosts Manchester Heliport, aircraft hangarage, maintenance services, experience flights, and a thriving general aviation community with approximately 100 based aircraft.
