Herefordshire Gliding Club is a small, friendly members' club based at Shobdon Airfield on the Welsh border, offering gliding training, taster flights, and gift vouchers to the public. The club is volunteer-run to keep costs low and is open throughout the year thanks to a hard surface runway. They are an accredited British Gliding Association Junior Gliding Centre, welcoming beginners, juniors, groups, and visiting pilots.
